Ooh thanks for that Anna. In my former life I used to edit Disney books, so was around watching previews of Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin et al, plus my sprogs have grown up with Toy Story. Ironically my oldest is now (nearly) a teenager too, and when we saw Bolt she wasn't too keen, and I thought Oh no, end of an era, we've grown up as a family with Pixar, but maybe it was just that Bolt wasn't all that good and she'll like this.
I know I will love Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland if it lives up to this promise: Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter hints of Edward Scissorhands, how can it fail???
I too am a confirmed Disney fan - I was 6 when the renaissance began with Little Mermaid, and 10 when Toy Story came out. The perfect age in other words! And yes, Burton and Alice in Wonderland does seem to be a match made in heaven.
