Thoughts on TV, comedy, theatre, film, music and anything else that takes my fancy...
Hmm, it's telling me it doesn't start for 4 hours and the videos don't load - http://www.watson24hour.com yeah?3 video streams, bit more high tech then when I was streaming audio over my laptop for Chortle! Congrats on the course btw.
Thanks dude! Yeah, it does say that it starts in four hours, but believe me its happening :) Shame you can't get it working...
I shall fiddle.
Go for it :)
Working now!Shout out to the legendary Andrew McClelland, who is a fan of The Divine Comedy. At Edinburgh we were both sat in the crowd to the same show and they played Popsingers as background music while people came in, and we noticed each other both singing along. So then I went to see his show :DSo how long you gonna stay up watching it?!
Yay! Gotta have a little break to review Headcases, but then I'll keep watching for a bit. Not too long though... I'll watch again in the morning. They mentioned that Tim Minchin had emailed in from NY, so I emailed *him*... we had a little 24-hour show-based conversation. Which was nice :D
Friends of the rich and famous!Tom Basden is on keyboards now. I will keep an eye on it till later then try and catch the last hour tomo afternoon...I've heard that this years Edinburgh may be the last long show.
Ahh, he just addressed his wife as 'wife' - for some reason that always amuses me!
He's been doing it all the time! You know the John Snow thing - THAT WAS ME! A few of us were discussing it on Minchin's forum. But now they seem to think it's the London lot who instigated the hunt for John Snow, so it's all got a little complicated! Haha!
Hehe, you're manipulating things from behind the scenes! I'm very jealous of thier Krispy Cremes at the moment!
Yeah, me too! The London lot must be very confused that I've just volunteered them to try and find John Snow.. haha! It sounds like they're kinda just playing along even though I *know* they can't have a clue what Mark's going on about.
They bloody well should get John Snow. If there's one thing stranger than trying to get a famous person to turn up to a 24-hour long show for a song and sense of vague uncomfortableness, is trying to do the same when you don't actually have a show!
"There are other things in life apart from mayors"Just had A-Me dueting with the winner of Australian Idol. Have to say it's 10x better than last year's Edinburgh long show and I'm not even there. If nothing else there's never been less than three people on stage which it really benefits from.
I was going to go to bed but then David O'Doherty started pretending to be a chicken
I missed DOD! Dammit!
