Hmmm...d'you think this is gonna work? You had your reservations about the Reduced Hollywood thing, I remember (re: essence of Reduced Comedy is irreverent treatment of Sacred Cows, Hollywood Cinema is not sacred enough for gag to work) and I can only imagine that these reservations would be ten-fold with Reduced Star Wars. I think this smacks a little of running-out-of-ideas-ness...I guess if you get a buncha American college kids together it's only a matter of time until it comes round to Star Wars, so I suppose it should come as no suprise...
On the other hand: forget all that, it's probably really funny & I'd go see it in a shot given half a chance. Might even be better than Reduced Hollywood. While it isn't revered by scholars, Star Wars is certainly full of enough BIG THEMES and ICONIC SCENES and EPIC STORYTELLING to be good reducable material.

(Check my blog for a rather inevitable Paul Fuzz Reduced suggestion...)

There's already a guy doing a one-man Star Wars in 60 minutes at The Fringe this year...

But then he nicked the reducing idea from the RSC in the first place ;)

And yeah, I was gonna take the 'running out of ideas' line, but decided to jump straight to 'come on, it'll be great'... :)

The reduced movies site is good, especially as they are all re-enacted by bunny rabbits in 30 seconds.

See alien, brokeback mountain and casablanca, to name but three...
