Getting to the point of this blog involves various embarrassing admissions..

So I was watching This Morning (DING!) and I was horrified to see that John Barrowman has been kicked out of Dancing On Ice (DING!). But he was so good!

When he was talking to Lorraine Kelly, he kept slipping into his native Scottish accent - how's he going to cope when he's acting with DT? (THE POINT!)

Actually, I kinda hope he doesn't cope - American with a Scottish twang is much more appealing than it sounds....

Getting to the point of this comment involves one embarrassing admission.

Crazy funny post, Ms Waits.

(P.S Y'see that use of 'crazy?'This is my current fave expression, see:

"I almost broke my CRAZY neck getting up this ladder."
- Clerks

"It's CRAZY cold down there."
- Blood, Sweat & Tears

And there's a Mike from Friends(DING!)quote too, which I can't quite recall. And you know that's cool.)

I guess you're gonna say I should have put a DING after Blood, Sweat & Tears.

Quoting Mike from Friends does NOT deserve a DING! But yes, Blood, Sweat and Tears does... :)

Slow motion NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I think John Barrowman will be OK though, as DT doesn't do Scottish when he's being DW.

I think he does become more Scottish as time goes on - it certainly came through in parts of the preview at the end of the Invasion.... ah the Christmas Invasion... :)

According to one DT interview I heard on Radio One, he has the mockney accent in Doctor Who because the Doctor imprints himself like a chick on the first person he sees. Since Billie has a mockney accent, that's what he gets at first. Apparently, that was going to be explained in the Christmas Invasion but got edited out. It'll wear off apparently and he mentioned more Scottishness turning up later on.

If you want John Barrowman Scottishness, his appearance on LBC was American for the first half, Scottish for the second. Someone Scottish called in and he switched accent for the rest of the show.

Does Captain Jack even show up in the new series of Doctor Who? He's got his own sexy spin-off now, doesn't he? Which is a shame, because if he kissed Chris Eccleston, there was always the possibility he was going to kiss DT... post-Brokeback sigh...

Hehe!

No, he's not in this series but apparently turns up in the next - woo!
